Hello and welcome!

Before we get underway, a few words of introduction: for me and for this forum.

I am Joel Rahman, Director and Consultant at Flow Matters. I work as a software consultant in the water and environment sector and have served this sector in various roles for over 15 years.

My goal on this blog is to present interesting and useful information relating to the application of software technology in the water and environment sector. I enjoy solving technical problems, so at least some of the posts will be quite technical in nature and aimed at scientists and engineers developing or modifying software, or those looking to bend an existing tool to their will! Other content may be less technical, but still with a view to improving our application of software technology in this field.
